USASA Genuine Competitor 600

Once again the Rocky Mountain Series gets the job done like no other series on the planet.

A couple of years ago, we decided to promote this concept of a becoming a "Genuine Competitor".  Our goal is to help develop a competitor that is able to stand tall on the podium recognizing that without the cadre standing next to them, their victory would ring hollow or to also be able to stand equally as tall in the crowd watching, knowing that they had "emptied the tank" giving it their all, comfortable in the knowledge that tomorrow is another day presenting yet another opportunity to excel.  It is your hard work in every aspect of what we do that, in the end, makes us all GREAT!!!!

RMS snowboarders and freeskiers brought home 39 Gold, 46 Silver & 35 Bronze medals from the 2018 USASA National Championships, a total of 120 medals, adding yet another national championship performance to the record books and making this season one that you all should truly be proud of.

Let's not forget that each and every Rocky Series member contributed to this accomplishment.  It's not a "walk in the park" at our local events, every regional podium finish is hard fought, well earned & deserved.  It's no wonder that competitors from other series & from around the world stop in at our events to see how they measure up against you!  Speaking of which, most of you have spent time on the hill with the RMS Alums listed below who attended the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

CONGRATULATIONS, because of your efforts & support all season long we've all been able to put another notch into the record books, you all are truly awesome!

Our resort partners play a big part in helping us deliver quality venues for you to compete in.  Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, KeystoneWinter ParkEldora, Howelsen Hill and Steamboat Springs close their parks to the public and deliver world-class venues for you to compete on. THANK YOU!

Finally, without our longstanding series sponsors, we'd never be able to put on our final touches and deliver the show.  The Vista Auto Group & Jeep provide us with a great vehicle that gets us fully loaded to each weekend's events safely. Our "Rewards Ceremony" would not be complete without made in Colorado snowboard and skis from Never Summer, Icelantic & Donek and we'd never be able to "sweeten the pot" without the support of the best gloves & mitts in the business from Gordini, Smartwool socks, which have been keeping RMS competitors feet warm for the past 12 seasons, backpacks & accessories from Thule, all-natural non-fluoro Meadowfoam waxes from Wend that helps us go fast while keeping the planet in great shape, Gravitee Board Shop, who are always ready to provide an RMS competitor discount and finally our judges & staff stay better focused when fed deliciousness from Cheeba Hut in Dillon.

It takes a lot to deliver an RMS event and this crew has been down for a long time supporting your efforts.  Whenever you have the opportunity, please thank them for their support.
